Welcome to the 2019-20 Coach Application for the CCHA. If you are interested in being considered for a coaching position for a CCHA team, you must first read and agree to the Coaching Code of Conduct on the next page in order to reach the application page.
Each Coach must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to sign-up for the 2019-2020 hockey season.
Doing so helps us confirm the status of your certifications with USA Hockey, however, that is ultimately YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Ensure you use the same name with which you registered with USA Hockey in the past (i.e., don’t use “Jim” if you registered as “James”) when updating your hockey number registration. In any event, you will need to have a USA Hockey number to complete the accelerated, pre-season requirements being imposed by USA Hockey this year.
These pre-season requirements must be completed PRIOR TO your first practice with a team.
The pre-season requirements for 2019-20 are:
If you don’t follow these requirements, you will not be eligible to coach and will not get your volunteer hour credits.
Prior to beginning the CCHA registration process, each coach must be registered with USA Hockey.
NOTE: This is an upfront fee paid by each coach, and then reimbursement by CCHA for ROSTERED head and assistant coaches (4 per team) at the end of the season pursuant to the CCHA Coach Reimbursement Policy.
